Context
Compusave publishes CRM software for call centers and service businesses. Each client used to run its own copy of the application — separate code, deployments and fixes. Operators handle a high volume of calls and appointments daily, so slow screens translate directly into lost time.
Role
Full stack developer: frontend architecture and operator interfaces, backend features in Laravel, the clinic module, and DevOps for remote client environments.
Challenge
- One app per client — every fix copied and deployed several times.
- Different clients, different needs — branding, modules and workflows vary from a call center to a medical clinic.
- Operators work fast — slow re-renders and extra clicks cost real productivity.
- Remote infrastructure — client environments hosted on servers the team had to provision and keep healthy.
Approach
One codebase, configured per tenant
A single Laravel + Livewire codebase serving every client environment; branding, enabled modules and workflow rules come from tenant configuration instead of code forks.
Operator-first interfaces
Call handling, appointments and customer history redesigned around the operator's real flow: fewer screens, keyboard-friendly forms, live KPIs without page reloads (Livewire, Alpine.js).
Clinic module
A dedicated CRM for clinics: appointment booking and scheduling, doctor availability, patient medical records and documents, and prescription generation.
DevOps for remote clients
Provisioning and maintenance of servers, instances and databases for remote client deployments — releases, backups and monitoring handled by the same team that wrote the code.
Results
- 5+ client environments from a single codebase.
- ~40% less deployment overhead — one build, one release process.
- ~20% fewer manual operator tasks on the redesigned flows.
- A clinic module covering the patient journey from booking to prescription.
